hiii every one :
i'm an intern i'll finish my internship in july ,i'm finishing it and i feel that i did nothing ,the palce i'm doing it is in an arab country and they don't have avery will trained programme and even after finishing it is not 100 sure that they r givinig jops ,still i'm lost coz i don't know what to specilize in ,or what exams to do ?

Why don't you start by preparing for part 1 membership exams in the speciality of your choice? I don't know if you graduated from outside India or even if you are an Indian or not, but if the answer is yes to the above questions, why don't you write the FMGE exam so that you can get registration in India? It's something to start with, atleast.

i'm not an indian and i didn't graduate from india ,i an arab and graduated from DMC in dubai,i thought of doing a post graduate study in india but we have to do exams there right befor applaying and i don't know the what is the chances of working or doing PG there ?

hi. for indian exams , i dont think u'll be eligible in general caegory. u can apply for foreign/ nri category available in select exams...... or take a seat in a private college.
as far as internship is concerned, relax. not many ppl learn much in internship.

it is really to find someone from the same college,which batch you are maby i know you? i'm batch 15 i'm from yamen,doing internship in DOHMS any way i'm really confused of where to go what exams to do next because of course u know that resedincy is not granted her in uae .so tell me about the FMGE exam who can do it and if i pass it what will happen next and can i do postgraduate in india, by the way where you are from,i think you are from india ,anyway take care of yourself hope to here from you soon .

Nice to hear from you! You're right, I'm from India. I am from batch 13. Well, about your question regarding post graduation after FMGE , you will be eligible to do entrance exams for post graduate programs such as MD, etc after doing FMGE and registering in the Medical Council of India. Also, those Indians who joined medical college after 2002 were supposed to get a letter first from the MCI in order to be eligible to write FMGE later, but I don't know if that is also for non-Indians. Anyway, you joined before that so that should not be a problem. But to confirm things, as you are not Indian national, my suggestion is to clear your doubts from the national board of examinations which conducts the FMGE by writing to them by email. hey legened..u have graduated from dubai? so do u really WANT to come to india or HAVE to come to india.....if u dont have to, then why dont u sit for the USMLE ....i bet the FMGE wxams are gona be as tough as USMLE ....whatever ..luck....!
