FAQ: Sponsorship Letter for PLAB
2 visa?

As a requirement of VISA form, having an address in UK is mandatory. Is it also mandatory to have a sponsorship letter from someone in UK (either a relative or a course provider) or Having sufficient funds in the native sponsors' account will suffice?
Kindly help.
Thanx and best regards,
Dj

Dearest friends,
Thank you for your posts. I am waiting for PLAB
1 results on 4 appril to apply for visa.
I want to ask your advice on visa. Iam eligible to apply for Permit free employment visa in order to do the PLAB
2 and work in UK. But then I asked some of my friends who are in UK, they are doctors doing the PLAB
2, they say that I should apply for visitor visa not for permit free employment(PFT), because it is easier to get the visitor visa.
But I have a sponsor , and he will supply me with a support letter, so shall I apply to PTF visa?
I am afraid that I am the only doctor who will apply for PFT to do plab2.?
I just want your advice about this issue.
Thank you very much in advance.

Visit Visa

Friend,
What I know about PLAB
2 visa, its usually a 06 months Visitors Visa (most of the people try this). Indeed there're other types of visas available, but they have their own limitations and eligibilities.
Even if you've a sponsor you need to apply for visit visa.
PFT (Permit Free Training), is something very different. This is given when a person who has passed PLAB
2 gets a job.
The PFT will end soon. This is hot issue these dayz. Try to follow the posts.
Thanx and best regards.
