hi pariprassi

the aerospace entrance is usually in the month of feb, once a year.
there is a written test of 200 questions in 3 hrs.
syllabus is mbbs,
Salgunan and mudith khanna will do
questions are usually from AIPGE

will be easy
there will be an interview which will usually cover Physiology .

i heard there were no recruits under short service comm for the past 4 years.
i am not sure abt this but career options after your MD right now are not great.

you have got to weigh your options before getting into this field.

but the heck!!! you will not face the stiff competition like in the mainstream subjects.

all the best icon_smile.gif

hi pariprassu

i forgot to tell u........

employment opportunities are there in different airlines.
but this is not a happening field right now.

a month back i checked the NASA website and employment websites in the US.
there was only one opening in the whole of USA.

during the course, no stifend will be paid to civilian students....that is another thing

if u r really into it, have genuine interest, i say take it on.

every field is tough,if u think of it.

i may be ill informed. u can enquire with the people on RxPG aerospace forum.

all the best

no dude,i hven't heard of any coaching programme for this specific entrance exam!!
for the total 150 questions ,they follow AIPGE pattern.

do the kind of prep done for AIPGE

think that will more than suffice.

all the best

next exam is in feb
dont concentrate on this one exam
study for all india

i heard that from this year onwards the civilian seats will be first offered to retired officers first and only if they are not interested will it go to civilians .. that mekes it even more tough as even otherwise there are only 3 civilian seats ... but the brighter side is competition is less
