IS MANNITOL STRICTLY CONTRAINDICATED?(RELIABLE STUDY AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT THIS?)

OR IT HAS NO ANTI EDEMA ACTIVITY LIKE IN TUMOUR OR ...VASOGENIC OR CYTOGENIC EDEMA ETC...

PROBABLY-- IT DEHYDRATES THE BRAIN CELLS FURTHER...AND WHILE INCREASING THE INTRAVASCULAR SHIFT OF FLUID IN TO THE CEREBRAL VASCULATURE WHICH IS ALREADY BLOCKED BY THE SEQUESTERED RBCS AND PARASITIC KNOBS OF CEREBRAL MALARIA.... SO THAT THERE IS NO SPACE LEFT FOR THE SHIFTED FLUID TO FLOW SMOOTHLY AND DRAIN...CAUSING INCTREASED INTRAVASCULAR HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE ...MAY CAUSE RUPTURE

PROBABLY -IT MAY CAUSE PULMONARY EDEMA WHILE THESE PEOPLE CAN GO FOR ARDS AT ANY TIME

.....THIS IS MY HYPOTHESIS....I COULD NOT FIND ANY EVIDENCE FOR IT...

ROBERT
