Clinician have different trends than those given in books. They don't have rational basis for it always. Some of clinician goes as the trend without checking its rationality. What do you think? This question may hurt feelings of clinicians but my point is whether all clinician think about rationality of their treatment instea saying tat is commonly practised.

No all clinicians donot have good knowledge of Pharmacology .
Only few are interested in having knowledge in Pharmacology , espacially in the drugs related to their own field. Like surgeons are more interested in having knowledge about antibiotics, but that too is limited to dose of the drugs.
As I know clinicians donot have thorrow knowledge of the drugs they are using.
clinicians knows only those drugs which medical reps told them.
Even most of the clinicians donot know the drug molecule present in the brand. They just remember it by brand name.
