how to calculate for the IR (insulin resistance)!!. there are 3 formulas:-

1. The HOMA index insulin ([micro]U/m) x [glucose (mmol/l)/22.5].

2.The QUICKI index is based on the logarithmic transformation:
1/(log insulin + log glycemia in mg/dl).

3. McAuley Index = exp [2.63 - 0.28 ln(insulin in mU/1) - 0.31 ln(triglycerides in mmol/l)] .
