hi shaina .....do you have any information regarding DETAILS of the contract and exact procedure of selection.........i think without knowing ins and outs of the contract it is very hard to say whether one would like to join or not

hey axis thats what i dont know i thought somebody here might be knowing about the pros and cons of these recent jobs by punj govt thats why i started this thread

i thoght some debate might start regarding these jobs so that those who r interested might be benefitted by the pooling of knowledge by everybody in this forum but i have seen in this forum rarely people come and contribute

Hi I have got a copy of contract to be signed.The only worthwhile info it has is abut the programmes u haveto be a prt of and services to be provided by the doc. It says that u can leave the job at a notice of 3 mths.They (ZP) can terminate the contract at a notice of 1 th following unsatisfactory service. It has no mentioning regarding benefit of rural area service.

In Karnatka doc who had done rural service for 3 yrs and were denied the benefit in state pg had filed a writ,as it was there due. What I have heard unofficially is that they r same as PCMS except they r non pensionable after they r going to renew contract they will regularise the doc after couple of years.What I don't know is whether they will allow leave to do PG or not ???

hi,
u will b under sarpanch in this job. this is the worst park. and u will be alone in village so i think, it wont be good for female doctors.
further, it is non-transferable. u will never be able to come to city in this job.
chance of getting permanent is there?
wat else u want to know. ask specifically.

thanx chessmaster,nandini n shaina 4 ur replies.............can somebody tell me where to get a copy of contract....i guess ZP office is not providing any.
i think most important consideration for people studying for pg would be whether or not they'll allow us to appear in pg entrance exams[Punjab pg or AIPGE ].......and will there be some sort of penalty if someone decides to leave the job ?

hi, u can get the form and all from a local book shop. u can leave the job with 3mnth notice. so dont know, how will the adjust if some1 gets pg?? still apply, there shud b a definite solution.
