hi todu,
In answer to your query, I would prefer to do MS orthopaedics from JJ hospital if given a chance again since the amount of hands-on surgeries you get to do cannot be compared to any other college. However, teaching and supervised training are lacking there. For that, KEM stands first, but not much hands-on training in KEM as far as I know since there are 6 units in KEM with a lot of teaching staff. If you want to publish papers and are academically oriented, KEM would be the best choice. Sion and Nair-- again you get only trauma and not spines and joints like JJ hospital, also not much academics there.
BJ and GMC, nagpur---I dont have much idea but lot of hands-on training.
---kaustubh.
