well 2 hospitals affliated to it totaly ten units

patient input good as super specality hospital affliated to it like Jayadeva institute of cardiology, sds and tb sanitorium (respiratory disorders), dialysis also avialable,Nimahns(neurology),kidway(oncology)

teaching staff ok but some excellent teachers worth learning from them

interns carry on their work so all cases can be worked up

hostel facility is ok

people r frindly out siders always wellcome

language easy to learn but it is good if u know tamil or telugu even though kannada is the main language

stipend in 6000

good place to lern if in the list never let it go
even myself i want to do from ur college only

i think their is no bond fee last batch paid 20000 now recently they say fee is hiked for the new batch probably50000 not sure please enquire regarding this

hi sowmya ...thanx for that information on MD med in BMC.

i wanted to know if its okay for a north indian to take MD med in BMC, given the constraints put by language issue. i have come to know that most patients there r versed with either hindi or english ....is it so?

since MD med is all about symptomatolgy nd doctor patient relationship, will not language barrier prove a bit bigger to cross? .....plzzzzzz clarify ....m waiting for your reply ...my rank in AIPGEE 389.

not at all language is nt a barrier many people know hindi also the language is really easy to learn

have seen many pg from other states not finding ant difficulty with the language

people prefer pg degrees from bmc then hubli but i have no idea how is med in hubli sorry for that , but as far as i have heard bmc is the first prefered college when compared to ny other college in karnataka

Language is defenitely not a problem in bangalore, because everybody knows hindi and the native language is not that difficult as well...

hey to tell u bmc is best for obg n skin as far as i know the staff is good n their r regular seminars n discussion done by the prof n other faculty, since two years hair transplantation is done n good number of cases ,nice place to do md skin
as of now stipend as been increased to 11,000 since last year .but have no idea about madras medical college sorry for that n all the best for ur councelling
