Quick Scroll Work permit 03.14.06 (2 years ago) #1

Hi everybody,

There was a post in some forum on this website that from July 2006, every doctor would require a work permit if they want to work in UK.

Could anybody or the Rxpg team clarify these points:
1. what type of visa would be given for clinical attachment then?
2. will the SHO post attract the hospital authorities to process the work permit?
3. those who currently have 1 year PFT visa, will that hold good/valid after July?
4. the GPVTS entries are in process. How will the selected candidates be affected- will the work permit be processed for those lucky ones?

Thanks in advance to all those who read and clarify my doubts.

Cheers
