Hi Nbfo,
As far as i Know any certification taken by affliated / renowed Canadain universities are recognised world wife, either India, Pakistan or South africa.
Being a doctor you do not have much choices or option to get Masters.

But Faculty of Medince at University of toronto do offers Masters program for IMG like us in Contining eduucation .. pls log in to Utoronto CA website and go to facmed and you will go thru numerous masters/graduate and Ce programs.

meanwhile, you also chk rxpg forum Alt+C section for other alternates!!!

GoodLuck, any further queries are welcomed

hi both of you.,

I am also interested in doing master's programmes in Cnada. i thik university of alberta is also offering some genetics master's but they are asking for a Bsc genetics as an eligibility.. If tyou go through the programmes each and everyone ask for a Ug degree from that area as an eligibility... If you people come to know, any of the programme, considers as doctors and provide master programmes...please share your views.

Thanks rsshruthi

Quick Scroll i visited gradschools.com 03.16.06 (2 years ago) #6

as i mentioned my score is 63%.i think its equiv to canadian b+.
i am interested in genetics,mph,medicalmicrobiology.
i guess with TOEFL and GRE results and applying would be good option. I have yet to take it. i have contacted many prof for genetics and mph (negative response. maybe becuz for mph admissions r held once a year in september.personally i think its too late to apply .
also visited website gradschools for different programs.
also some univ have to fill a preapplication for free and tell u to contact the prof directly to find for an opening. So prep in advance. I will let u know if something +ve turns up.
also better to show ur interest in his research and field ur interested in while emailing the prof.
any further inputs welcome.
gl with ur search.
