Hello,
I hav done my MBBS n PRHO yr frm India and Have cleared both parts of PLAB last yr.M in Lon a present doin C/Attachment.

Can anyone pliz telme if----
1)I am exempted frm TRAS exam?
2)job scenario here is very bad.I wana train in o&g ,is it posible to do it in Ireland ?Hw is the scope there?
3)how long does it take for ur application to be accepted?

Thnkx in advance.U may ans ne part of the Qs if nt al,but pliz do.

If you passed PLAB and OSCE , you are exempted from the TRAS in Ireland .
The situation with jobs here is not very good either but if U are good, you should make it.
Contact the Medical Council and apply. It should take them 4-6 weeks to process your application.

dear now there r no jbs initially situation was better but now alot of plabbers are here and hunting job is almost impossible because of small population and no rules like uk. now people r doing PLAB after passing tras

just 2 add that the PLAB is valid in Ireland until 01.05.2006. After that even if you pass the PLAB you need to sit the TRAS

i am in the same line that ur going

indian completed MBBS cleared PLAB thinking of the suituation i applied for the Ireland and has been exempted from tras exam ..now i was in uk ,

1) as eligible for temporary registration are they going to give a visa to go to Ireland
2)if not possible can u tellme how to get a visa
3) can we sit for the mrcpi 1 and aply for Ireland visa,if so how to apply for mrcpi
