Medmanabhi, I don't think anyone in this forum can be sure whether you'll be given a specialist seat in an AON. I would suggest you to contact the state boards/ specialist college regarding this query. More likely than not, they may give you a SHO post.

If you have 2 or more years of postinternship experience, like the one stated above, I believe you may apply for an AON post. You may not take the AMC exam if you intend to stay in Australia for less than 4 years. But if you'll decide to stay for more than four years, it is imperative to take the AMC exam within these 4 years while you're working in an AON position in Australia to be able to stay longer.

Please refer to the previous posts for further information.

Hi NIC !

Since you have completed the AMC part 1, would you like to write an article in detail about how to prepare for the AMC part 1?

May be, you have written somewhere, I dont know! If so, pls let me know the link!

If not, hope you will do like some PLABers.

Thanks a lot!

I do hope Nonie, Rajsarin and especially Indiboy (who has done both parts already) share their experience/tips as well.

Yeah, that's good idea, Indiboy! I'll tell you about how to read their mind if you write a long article about AMC clinical exam icon_smile.gif

Why long? Would you like to list down all the stations and describe 'em a bit like what they expect, what we must do, any important things to note, etc etc etc!

Here are 3 articles written for PLAB 2. If you wish, you may follow the same patern!

I'm asking you because just you seem to have passed the clinical exam.
I'm not sure you will have time to write very long. Anyway it would be very very helpful if you try to help icon_smile.gif
Thanks a lot!

hey nic, u have done a great job. its really good to have these summaries.
can i make one suggestion to curb the questions that are asked by many without reading through previous threads. could they all be transferred to another thread named ''already discussed the forum:" or something like that. shouldnt be too much of work for the moderators and at the same time not too irritating for new comers who dont often know that his/her issues have already been discussed.
