Hi Bins, I don't think you can apply for assessment now because of your IELTS . You have to obtain a band 7 for each components first.

Hi Guds,

I think you'll have better chances if you'll apply directly to the hospitals rather than through agencies as agencies are looking for something specific (seems like it). Just google for Australian hospitals, and they have a list of vacancies at their websites. And no, you don't have to be registered with the state boards before applying because they will be the one to help you with the registration if accepted for the job. Keep trying.

Best Regards.

THANKS NIC FOR PROMPT RESPONSE, YES YOU ARE RIGHT THAT RECRUITMENT AGENCIES PREFER PEOPLE WITH UK ERXPERIENCE. HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT OCCUPATIONAL TRAINEE POSITIONS, WHERE YOU GO FOR JUST GAI NING MORE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN A PARTICULAR FEILD, WITHOUT ANY INTENTION OF LIVING IN OZ PERMANENTLY.

I WILL BE GRATEFUL IF YOU CAN HELP icon_smile.gif
