Quick Scroll query---PROTEST march for IMG's 03.26.06 (2 years ago) #1

I am copying the following of wat a fren mailed me .Earlier today,i was totally supportive of us Post PLAB Unemployed docs to join the march.....but reading thru the mentioned post am confused and wondering, shud v really join or not...Please feel free to let know wat u thnk we PPUD shud do?--shal v go/nt?

I came here on this forum only for one reason, that is to inform you guys ( m attending PPUDs only) that you are going to be used and disposed by your own countrymen beautifully.
The proposed march and protest that is going to be launched by the BAPIO is only an attempt to save the on-job Doctors. The Bapio and other officials clearly understand that it is impossible to provide employment to some 6000 PPUDs (may be more). What they want is to use your hugh numbers to show their power to the Government. They are planing to arrange a meeting with the Goverment Officials and initially talk for everybody, but then will be gradually and systematically inclined towards demanding an exhumption for all the on-training/on-job Doctors from the new Visa regulations. Beleive me, its all a set up and you have been used systematically by the BAPIO to beef up their stretegy and strengthen the logic of their demans. All the members of this organisation are on-job Doctors and no PPUD is a member.
The so called Organisation never ran any march or campagn to highlight the plight of unemployed doctors, all they did was issuing some sporadic statement condemning the unemployment situation here n there. Also, the statement by Mr Matthew at the Meeting in East Ham that he will resign if situation remains the same, is also a pre-planned plot. I m 100% sure that he will resign but only after the Goverment would have announced the relaxation of Visa Regulations for already on-training Doctors. He will resign only to satisfy the PPUDs that he and his Association genuienly cared for the PPUDs.

Its a word of truth and only truth and you can decide whats best for you.

Thank you insider for a very sincere and logical analysis of the situation
ofcourse BAPIO is gonna do nothing but use the ppuds as leverage for their own purposes even in their emails if i am not mistaken,

THEY SAY that they are most concerned for those already in jobs
the ppud situation has been escalating out of hand for near 3 yrs now, and they never made an effort to alleviate the situation

May be wat u say is true...All the protests are to protect the onjob or uk experiencd docs and if at all some change to the rule comes, that 'll be to help the HSMPs. Even NHS may need those experienced docs to hang around a bit as a reserve so they can use them if needed. They wont show any interest in PPuds and cant expect.

but wats wrong in helping our seniors a bit...

I know BAPIO is just a cultural organisation for thos established coconuts to conduct family meets. They dont really represent the real problem. If not they should ve acted against the GMCs irrational exploitation by conducting too many xams.

aity , this is a very seriours matter none the less
pls could u elaborate as to how u got this info.
so u think it could be another divide and rule policy from our hosts?
and hsmp are safe anyway aent they??
they dont require a work permit .
But this issue really has made me think , though i still may join it atleast it wil show we arent taking it sitting down m but i wouldnt be happy with a law which favours all those already in, they already have hsmp to favour them.
the ppuds too shoudl be benifitted

Each organization in this act is out to protect THE INTERESTS OF ITS OWN MEMBERS (What else do they exist for?)

EMQ

Match Organizations to the relevant population.

Answers

DH -> UK and EU citizens
BMA -> UK Doctors
NHS -> Their own financial interest
GMC -> Patients
Bapio -> BRITISH DOCTORS (Of Indian origin etc. I thought the name was self evident!!!)
NOBODY ->Jobless overseas doctors (Who are likely to take away existing jobs!!!)

Which organization do you belong to?
Who do you think is likely to support you?

To be fair to the organizers of protests etc, Vested intersts or not, they need to be commended for doing something more than sitting at home and moaning about the situation.

cheers

go march
protest as much as u want
shout on the top of your lungs

NOTHING WILL CHANGE

your protet will be "noted" but the fact will still remain.. we arent wanted here.. and it will be foolish and stupid for us to think that anything will change

pls do yourself a favour and go home while with some dignity

NHS trusts are cutting jobs. Some british graduates are unemployed. Extra 20% UK gradutes will soon apply for jobs. So there is no hope. Friends, go home; you have still enough time to build your career.
Most of the Asian doctors who are working in NHS, are selfish. They dont show any sympathy to the junior doctors, who go for clinical attachment. Even when you are in attachment they will not talk to you.

So will we join the protest march just to protect this selfish doctors? icon_confused.gif icon_twisted.gif
