A primigravida delivered a full term baby vaginally,twenty days back she developed bleeding PV.all are correct except

a]Pitocin drip after collectin blood for grouping and cross matching
b]Per vaginal exam to rule out retained placenta in the uterus
c]avoiding administration of Methergin even if the uterus is empty
d]Dilatation and curettage if clinical exam or usg indicates placental bits

ans is c. bec methergin increases motility of uterus.so if any retained bits of placenta r left it will bleed off...........
