hi guys,
i thought i was content with being cyrus for one month atleast but the very next day i went for this V for vandetta, which was full paisa vasool.... my euphoria was like the stock market... it zoomed... i hadn't seen a good action flick since a long time and this one was good. direction was good.... but the best thing was the dialouges.... too good man... and the crisp british english as a topping was like sone pe suhaaga....
This marks the fantastic return of the Wachowski brothers. Those who were disappointed with their last efforts will not be disappointed here, there is no doubt that the Brothers are talented. Here they make their comeback. But not as filmmakers, but as producers and writers. And to be honest ,this film thrills you from beginning to end. You'll be blown away with this adrenaline excitement and dramatically intense thriller. What I liked about this film was the way it balances action and drama.
the movie's story is based on assumption that in future totalitarian Britain is formed. britan is shown as a communist country.... Evey (Natalie Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as "V." Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he detonates two London landmarks and takes over the government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V's mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself - and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.
the scene where natalie cries is very touching....
the very first scene where V rescues the female and gives his introduction will keep u hooked to the rest of movie...

hey,
there's lots more to a moview than dhishum dhishum... there's direction, dialouges, cinematography, STORY, the message a movie gives... i think V is not upto ur mark bcos it didn't had fighting sequences like matrix, but as i said action is not the only thing.
and being cyrus!!!! u didn't like that too.... i must say that u must be njoying govinda movies where one has to put his brains out to n'joy!!!

Hey hey, everyones entitled to his/her opinion...but we shouldnt be venturin into controversial domains like the finer tastes of fellow forum members. Why,even I'm one of those who did'nt quite appreciate the "finer" details behind the latter movie. That doesnt make me a Govinda fan...and even if i were, whats bad about it?
