Quick Scroll here it is: the title is "it's already eight thirty, mis 04.09.06 (3 years ago) #2

It’s already eight thirty Mr.

As long as I can think back on my days in the college (although got many more to spend here), I can think of only one major achievement (if I can call it as one), not surprising as most of my friends would agree this supposedly “major” achievement cannot be THAT major. What I have been successful in doing is that all through these four and a half years in this beautiful college I have been consistent in the TIME I entered the LT in my morning lectures. Eight thirty, yes it has to be this and not even a single minute here or there, I mean after all give this poor guy a break, it is painstakingly difficult to be that consistent.

Though a major achievement in its own true sense, like all other famous achievements by all those famous people it has not been an easy path for the poor debilitated soul which rests in my body, wow is that philosophical! Years and years of rigorous training is what I had to put in, from deciding the slowest possible mode of getting ready for the college to nurturing that “never say die” spirit which showed me the light to guide my efforts in, and if that is not enough I always had to face the threat of being unceremoniously thrown out of the class, but what is a guy if he got no nerves of steel, eh pal!

In the light of these amazing facts I am sharing with you all (again at the risk of being socially ostracized) I must tell you about the force which drove me to perform this unimaginable feet, and as I have already said the truth and nothing but the truth, I cannot hide from you, that the idea behind this humongous task was originally an accident, the beauty of unrecognized and unhindered “serendipity” I mean what else could have I done, I got up late, got ready late, had my breakfast late, left my home late so inevitably I got LATE. This helplessness of the earlier days soon became a habit and finally a necessity, and not to mention, a passion to drive the world crazy.

Shifting my “focused” focus to the other aspects of my endeavor, my narration can never be complete till I throw a “focused” light on other equally “focused” aspects, focusing on the second most “focused” aspect what I gather from my memory is the face of that “focused” professor whose focus I disturbed while making my grand entry to the confines of the lecture theatre (proudly known as the LT), and that “focused” glance made me quiver with the fear of sudden and totally unexpected death of my journey to find my true self, the real me behind myself. Luck is what I would call that, because it was hardly ever that I was actually thrown out of the LT.

Bringing all my focus back to the real nucleus of this narration, looking and feeling like the old man right next to where I am typing on my computer screen (for those who are confused it is my MICROSOFT office assistant) when I look back now, I think I have found what I ran after, what I yearned for, the wish of being there in the class at “eight o’ clock” and behind this wish or should I say the reason behind all this running and wishing is probably those words which will make my bone marrow shatter:

“ IT’S ALREADY EIGHT THIRTY Mr.”

draditya u really have all the markings of an immensly readable and enjoyable author...
great going...

the best thing is ur story makes us identify and involved with the theme...especially me who arrived to class always between 8.10 to 8.20...imagine arriving in all those profs classes 20 minutes late and being the roll no 1 throught my 4 1/2 yrs...i wasnt allowed once(although i had the consolation that i wasnt alone-about scores were denied entry if they ever came after the prof was in)

draditya can we hav more stories in the future,please...
