I have been having trouble with my head for quite sometime. I have constant episodes of a feeling of fullness behind the eardrum and pressure all on the right side of my head. I also have been having a problem with cloudy vision in my right eye only. This cloudy vision is not constant but seems to only occur when I am tired. I also occasionally have short bouts of lightheadedness. All of these symptoms have been going on for about a year now. Some of my more recent symptoms include a tenderness in the skull on the top of the right side of my head which has been there for about 4 months, discomfort and occasional pain in the middle part of the back of my head, occasional slight numbness on the left side of my face, and an occasional tingling (like a pinched nerve) in my left shoulderblade. I have had numerous scans of my head and the only thing that ever comes back is that I have cysts in both of my sinuses that are located under my cheekbones. I also occasionally am told that I have a sinus infection. I have been on several rounds of antibiotics which have been to no avail. The scans that I have had include 3 CT Scans (without contrast) and an MRI (with contrast). All of these tests have been scans of the head. I am starting to worry about the possibility of an aneurysm that has not been detected or a tumor that has yet to be detected. Could it be possible to miss both of these conditions on all of these tests? Someone please help. I don't know which direction to turn next. All of the doctors I have been to seem to brush me off. Maybe it is because I am only 25 years old, but I know something is not right. Someone please help!! Thanks everyone.

It seems that your physical and neurological examination are normal. No localizing signs, and no clinical progression over the past year.
Is there a bruit heard on your head? Ear examination? Eye examination?
3 times of CT scan without contrast might miss some lesions, but MRI with gadolinium should detect something if there were.
Which is the sinus that is diagnosed as sinusitis?
Benign brain tumors can be excluded, and if it is a malignant tumor, you should get worser with time.
AVM should also be detected by MRI with Gd.
I am sorry that can't give any useful advice, but hope you don't worry too much. Emotional stress may make things worser than it should be. Just observe whether there is anything progressive and persistent, then going to see your doctor immediately.

I agree with PDHarmas, MRI with contrast should detect abnormality espacially if already with symptoms. Visit different Neurologists, just to compare their opinion which would help to avoid any mistakes in diagnosis. Before all, go for eye and ear examination, sometimes eye problems cause a severe headaches without any pathological changes on CT MRI exams. And MRI less likely to miss any Pathology
of the brain such as you described - aneurismus or tumor, especially if they already causing problematic symptoms. What about the cystis in Highmore sinus (it could be result of the previous acute Highmore sinus infection). Did you have any radiological examinations of your sinusis supramaxillaris?
What was the outcome from your enquiry till now, did you get any light to your condition?
if doctors seems brushing you off probably they don't see any abnormality. Remember it is your concern to get till the end. As earlier you find out the problem or as i wish normality in your organism the better will be future treatment or no treatment if everything is normal as i wish you.
good luck
Thanks.
