hi all
i need some help regarding pg in Maharashtra
i went through pref.form brochure ,some seats are marked as 'R' -RECOGNISED
'NR' -NON RECOGNISED
and others as approved

can some one explain the difference...as in if the seats are not recognised by m.c.i. yet how can they be given through the authentic state counselling.

wots the diff. btw recognised and approved seats?
is it worth taking non recognised seats?
can we practice after doin pg through these seats?

i have done my mbbs from Maharashtra but am getting married in lucknow so i need pg which is recognised all over india
my rank not gr8 but i cant afford to miss this year n i am ready to take up anything i get ....even a non clinical subject.wot are my chances with a rank beyond 2000.

saw the last years cut off seats went till 3000-3500 plus in open catagory.....not very good seats though,but in the situation ia m at present i might pick it up. is a similar pattern expected this year too.further i dont want to get stuck with apg seat which is not recognised elsewhere.

need your advice .rxpg please help.

its a sincere request to the moderators of this forum.rxpg team n all u guys to pls throw some light on this issue,preferably before the pref form filing starts.
