Hi friends ,

Is there anyone who has taken up anesthesia this yr ... or last yr ... or the previous .. or anyone who has completed .... kindly post here abt your experiences ..

lets gather here so that we can make full use of this PG period which is precious.....

to start with , i hv taken up MD anes at KEM mumbai in this yr all india ..

i would like to hear advise from seniors here .. regarding .. how to go about in the learning experience .. how to make max use of my 3 yrs ...

I too have taken Md Anaes. Im also too young in this field. Just 7 days Old. From Hyderabad, GMC.
I'll surely share my experiences if i have any. Do u have any information about what books to study?

i dont hv much idea abt books but what my seniors tell me is ... to concentrate on work right now.. studies and theory can be done later also ..

the standard ones are Miller , Stoelting [ 2 volumes ] .. some even read Wylie ... then there is another book for ICU management...

do shed any more light on this and also ur experiences...

anyone else please come forward... this field has a bright unexplored future... !!!

Hi dear fellow anaesthetists,

I am also new to the field of Anaesthesia . really exciting and enthralling. i wanted to enquire if there is anything like MRCA or FRCA along the lines of MRCP /MRCS /FRCS! U know what i mean. Wel if anybody has any idea pls reply asap.

But my apologies for not comprehending clearly ur reply! U mean to say that we have to clear PLAB , then take up MRCA/FRCA. Am i correct? MRCP /MRCS exams can be cleared from outside of UK. Is it possible for MRCA too? Somebody pleeeeeees shed some light on this! Advance thanx for anybody who can clear my head of this confounding confusion!
