well,.....syndrome_xy,....... i only want to say one thing i learned during my preps,.... and that is that the max no of hours that is humanely possible to contribute in one day is 12hrs.,........ any thing above that would be just on paper,....

try to get the max u can out of those 12 hrs,....... dont waste time in any useless activity,....... thats it,.......

..... and in the end only thing is imp........ is that u should have a satisfaction that u gave ur best,......... rest is destiny,....... no amount of hard work can overcome that bit,....

all the best.

dont decide hrs per day... make time tables....its just waste of time...
ppl plan set a time table waste hrs in that ....
finally cant achieve what they had planned...
waste more time in worrying about it....
Instead entering in this vicious cycle of time killing....
My dear friend.... I would suggest u that u shud only study and study.... Give ur best shot everyday...
BE little stressed... I call it EUSTRESS.. but not Disstress...
WHY Eustress? cause this keeps u going ...makes u study harder... but that shud be it....
No ruminations and obsessive thoughts about success or failure.... this will simply waste ur time..
DO take breaks when u feel a burnt out...
just dont go on reading when u know u cant anymore....
I think its hell lot of advice right...
But its a sincere personal opinion....
choice is urs...

Quick Scroll TIME TABLES R NOT THAT HARMFUL IF U CAN STICK ON TO EM... 05.15.06 (2 years ago) #8

I DONT THINK TIME TABLES ARE THAT MUCH HARMFUL...
U SHOULD HAVE DAYS PLANNED FOR EACH SUBJECT...
U NEED NOT DIVIDE THE DAY TO PARTS ....SAY HOURS....
STUDY TO FINISH THE TARGET..U PLANNED ABOUT
A STEADY WORK FOR 6-8 HRS TILL SEPT AND THEN 12 HRS TILL JAN CAN WORK WONDERS...

U SHOULD HAVE ONLY ONE OR TWO REVISIONS BEFORE EXAMS...
DONT SPEND SAY SIX MONTHS STUDY AND THEN 3 REVISIONS FOR 6 MONTHS...
MAKE THAT 9 MONTHS STUDY AND TWO REVISIONS IN 3 MONTHS...
REVISIONS CANNOT SUBSTITUTE DETAILED STUDY...

THE MOST IMPORTANT VIRTUE THAT ONE NEEDS TO FOLLOW A TIMETABLE IS DETERMINATION...AND FOR DETERMINATION U NEED LITTLE BIT OF STRESS LIKE RICK POINTED OUT...I M NOT SAYING THAT STRESS IS ESSENTIAL BUT WE PPL ARE USED TO THAT SORT OF STRESS DURING OUR EXAM DAYS...
