Our Psychiatry Section seems to be a small one.
Why not get aquainted with each other??
Post your details like Name, City, PG status, College, Thesis Topic etc.

This way we'll know each other & can interact with each other better especially for freshers like me who'll start our PG's this year. I would certainly like to get all guidance I can.

Plus since Psychiatrists are a small exclusive fraternity why not get to know each other better?
Aur phir Paagalon Ke Doctor kitne kam milte hain.. To Kya Khayaal hai? Thodi Jaan-Pehchaan Ho Jaaye?? icon_twisted.gif

Well for starters

I am Dr. Rueeta from Mumbai. I've just taken admission in Seth G.S.Medical College Mumbai for MD Psychiatry (ofcourse) thru this year's ill-fated AIPGE .
I've always wanted to pursue Psychiatry since my first clinical postings as I am simply in Love with this Mysterious & Enchanting subject

I am Parin Parmar from Rajkot. I finished MBBS this year from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, & now an intern at Rajkot.

Psychiatry is my favourite subject, & I want to do MD psy. I find brain, the most complicated organ, very attractive & emotions, thoughts, intelligence, memory, meditation, arts are my favourite subjects. I feel, if something is to be done in medical field, it's all about brain & genetics. Surgeons & physicians will keep coming & going, but if you want really to contribute, it will be these two fields..
