hi guys,
i have scored 76 in st 1, which i never expected. now i am in dilema whether to study for st2 or quit studying for USMLE ? some of my friends r advising me study for st 2. should i belive in my f****d up fate or my friends....... plzzzzzzzz help

do u have.......

greencard/US citizenship?
MD in india?
US clinical exp.?
research papers in international journals?
JUGAAD in america for resi/DESI gal to marry??

if the answer to any of these is YES,u might think to taking STEP2 CK.
other wise,u"d be a brave man if u do.

no man u wont even get an interview call at score of 76
really im sorry to say that the scene has changed now

people are not getting calls ...people in 90s get 3 or 4 calls

plz do take care think a lot of time before u try to give step 2

hey rohan,

i have been writing to programs coordinators in IM and Psych to enquire...Most need a score of 80 or above even to apply...
there are few programs which have no minimum score criteria.
the ones in family medicile seem lenient about minimum scores requires to apply.
but overall, it sure doesnt look easy...they`d obviously want candidates with higher scores.
so work harder on the remaining steps, get someone to talk to the PD, try getting recos from US physicians....thats the only way you can ensure being called for interviews.
