Hi
I graduated (MBBS) last year and have passed USMLE Steps 1,2 CK & CS and 3 also and have 6 months clinical experience. Due to some visa problem i am looking for job in New Zealand . Can any body tell me what are my chances to get job there and moreover am i exempted from NZREX? I have visited their website but situation is not clear.Moreover what r my chances in Australia . I dont want to give another exam. Thanks for replying in advance.

yes you are exempted only until sept 2006. so work fast, take the IELTS now and get a job before sept 2006. there are vacancies, check my other posts.

Dear Thanks for reply. Well i have already passed my IELTS in feb 2005 and scored 7.5 overall with 7 in each. i also applied to various recruitment agencies but they say that i dont have 1 year clinical experience. I could not find your other posts. plz do reply and help me.

they have 2 or 3 rmo openings.

tell them you are inquiring for house surgeon openings. tell them you passed usmle1,2 and 3 and IELTS . work fast. time is against you.

this is for nzrex profile.what is the new procedure that you are talking about that takes place after sept,2006?why r u stressing us to apply for jobs before sept1006?
i've cleared step1,step2 and IELTS .i'll be writing nzrex clinical in october,2006.
please reply nzrex.

maoris, it does not apply to you. it applies to waqas. the medical council of nz allows you to be licensed if you have passed USMLE 1, 2 and 3 and IELTS if you have a job offer but this way is open only until early September 2006. So for your case, if you do not have USMLE 3, you really have to take NZREX.

Hi guys, I have finished all my USMLE exams and now i am ECFMG certified , that means i have passed USMLE step1, step2 and csa, do i need to take the nzrex clinical to get registered or is there any way i can skip it
