well lazy dear! i had solved the questions from the year 1995..
keeping the latest trends , i think this shud be sufficient.
becuz there used to be lot of repeatitions in the past question papers
which u dont see much in the recent papers.
so if r soving from 95 , i guess u wont be at loss.
other views r welcome..

thanx lazy , for starting this thread, actually i was facing the same problem. though i've done a few subjects complete from AAA, but keeping in mind zoom's advice i'm gonna do questions 95 onwards only. time is a real constraint now and it's important to finish the course right now.

i would say....... the first aim should be to cover ALL subjects by doing MOST(not all) of the mcqs in each subject. its very very important to finish ALL subjects in the first reading....... will matter even if SOME CHAPTERS from each subject are left unfinished/done crudely in the process of finishing ALL SUBJECTS. the chances of getting mcq from any given part of subject is actually quite low....... so if most of the important topics are covered....... the chances of missing an mcq is quite low.

so i would say its very advisable to do mcqs UPTILL A CERTAIN YEAR ONLY rather than trying to champion all available mcqs from the subject. this holds true especially for huge subjects like medicine, Physiology , Biochemistry , Pathology and Microbiology .
these subjects require inappropriately long time if they ought to be done to an extent that would give confidence and fearlessness(..!).,..... which is usually not acceptable considering that in AIPGE ALL subjects are EQUALLY important.

hence,..... for the wellfare of other subjects it would be advisable to cover up most of the important topics in these subjects .... and even that would be sufficient to answer most of the question. and even studying last 12/13 yrs mcqs RETROSPECTIVELY from AAA/Salgunan can ensure this.

for smaller subjects doing all mcqs would be okay. but only if time permits.

during the final phases of AIPGE preparations,....... it would really prick if one of more subjects have not been covered with reasonable intensity,......... and that would always put one into a sort of disadvantage which would be difficult to overcome. on the contrary,..... certain discrete portions of several subjects,.... if still unfulfilled by then wont pose an equivalent threat ,........ simply bcos the risk of the mcqs falling in most of those uncovered topics is minuscle (hence risk of a major setback is small).

my views are based on my experiences and mistakes during AIPGE preparations. there aint a single sure shot method of studying which would be equally appropriate for all people. so pls take them only if they seem helpful/reasonable for you.
there are in no case unquestionable or 'indispensible' for success.

hey.. lazybonezz .. dont feel u cant do it yaar.. u can complete whole lot of ques.. more or less they r same pattern.. if u want to do from 94-95.. do it that way.. but why not to give mock test to urself for the previous paper prior to 94 -95.. now 10 yrs previous paper r trendy but u should practice whole lot... just be optimistic and do it.. just do it once throughly so that revision becomes fast ...but yes, its a must to revise!!!!!!!

you may try 2 things:-

1>mark the qns that u cant do 1st time
during revn do only those marked mcqs
2>check those only from ur book which u cant solve cofidently. others, oonly check the anwers

perhaps these can speed things up

I did not solve the questions in AAA as such. i always read the question then answer & explanation like a textbook. During my first reading I wrote down all the stuff that i felt was NEW or IMPORTANT in my notes. For second reading i noted down all the topics that were repeated 3 or more times & read up on them from Harrison or relevant text & third reading was just revision.
All this B4 the Nov AIIMS & then if time permits just revise ur weak subjects b4 AIPGE .

BEST LUCK
