the haploid genome has 30,000 genes divided in 23 chromosomes
so wat shud b the answer 2---
total genes in a human being---
a50000
b30000
c60000
4100000

ans given is b
shudnt it be double

we have only 30,000 genes as one gene for HB one for albumin etc although we can have different alles.

we can have two Hb (eg one HbS other HbC)genes but both will be Hb gene.

in that way we have 30,000 genes only even if we r triploid tetraploid or haploid

ok i guess ur saying that alleles of a gene can b two or more on chromosomes
so watever the no of chromosomes----->watever no of alleles-----.gene will be only 1
