can anyone let me now whats ths scope of doing MPH in Australia ?
i wanna do MPH in Australia and at the same time clear amc (both parts) ..
and one more thing that i wanna ask is - whats the scope of getting a job after clearing amc if i dont have any experience?

well....tush_tr...wat do u mean by scope of mph? as in gettin into da program or scope after gettin out of da program?of wat i know...doin mph is a good way of approaching amc considering da fact dat we can be present in oz....but da thing is dat amc itself it seems takes a lot of ur time plus da fact if uw ork part time...hmm one can think of it! atleast a month or so is reqd b4 amc 1 of wat i have come to know...so if one is ready to put in all this then ithin thsi route is pretty gud! well toknwo better soem one whoz actually doin dere shud reply!
after amc mcq well i heard da job oppurtunites aint dat gud...but not dat U CANT GET!!well after amc clinicals it int dat bad...more ppl like nic answer u! they r of gr8 help

public health is itself not in the occupation list by immi dept
but mph seems to be the best option
after mph job prospects are good in uno and who
coz they want medical officers with mbbs and mph
in Australia job after mph is not so great but neither so bad
u can get a reasonable one but not an outstanding one easily
the money u spend on mph doesnt get wasted
regarding amc its a tuff thing to prepare it together with mph as mph requires a lot of thesis and presentation homework and class work
however at the last but not the least u can say that mph is the most safest way of getting a good life in aust

i have few more queries and would be thankfull if would find an ans..
i am planning to do mph in aust .. could anyone pls tell me that if it is possible to work partime with the course and take out the money for my living expanses at lest(if not the tution fees)..?
and what would be the payscale for a reasonable job in aust as a mph.. ?

its not wise to pay the tution fee from the odd jobs
but u can pay some of it depending on ur job
but u can get u r living expenses catered by even working less than 20 hours per week
and thats for sure

the thing is that i have done my mbbs from a private collage and have spend a lot of my parents money in it .. cant afford to take again from them a big amount..
it would be great if i could take out my living expanses easily (like u said) by working parttime .. and may be pay the tution fees by taking some study loan.
btw what abt u? r u in aust and what r u doing?

yes u can get u r living expenses caterd if u have an average life style by part times
i dony know about loans
who do u intend to take loans from
but again its the tution fee thats a burden and not the living expenses

Hi Tush_tr and others interested in MPH,
I am also interested in doing MPH in Oz. Have just finished my IELTS and now starting to apply to the Universities. Where are you planning to go?
Although Public Health is not in the immigration list, Health Administration is there which is related to the Public Health field. Besides jobs in Public Health are available.
While doing your MPH you can have a crack at AMC. I believe it can be done.
