Quick Scroll FORUM CHARTER---PLEASE READ BEFORE U POST 10.15.03 (4 years ago) #1

RxPG site has Nagging questions forum and the individual subjects forums. So where should I post my question?

Well the answer is that you should post in Nagging questions forum to start with. Your question will stay in this forum as long as it remains unsolved. Eventually when your question will be satisfactorily solved in this forum it will be moved by one of our moderators to the individual subjects forum. The aim of the Nagging questions forum is just to highlight the real difficult questions which might bury in the multitude of posts if posted elsewhere and to give a unified plat form for both asking and answering the question.

Please keep these guidelines in mind before posting anything here.

1. If you are asking a query or typing in a Nagging question, then please post only one question per new topic thread you are starting. This will help in maintaining a clear and focussed discussion on a single question in a topic thread!

2. Everyone have their own opinions and viewpoints! We expect all of us to respect the opinions of others and maintain a cordial enviorenment in the forums. This is very important keep the discussions productive. Abusive language will not be tolerated and any one found guilty of using abusive language will be debarred from the forum. The IP addresses of guilty parties will also be blocked permanently.

3. If you get help from someone, then try to help others also.

If you are posting a question for discussion the follow the following guidelines.

1. Subject line should be written as "SUBJECT NAME - KEY WORDS OF QUESTION" example: "Paediatrics - anaemia malaria"

2. Message Body should contain "Complete Question + What do you think is your problem + What is your answer"

If you do not follow these guidelines, you will just make the job of our moderators much more difficult as they will have to read every post to classify these topics subject wise. Our aim is to provide all the information in rxpg site in an easily browsable or searchable format and we are testing new softwares for that (e.g library software), but for that you need to help us first in order for us to help you.

Thanks

Quick Scroll FORUM CHARTER---PLEASE READ BEFORE U POST 02.13.06 (2 years ago) #3

The moderating team of this forum welcomes you . Following is a brief introduction and information about this forum. It would be really nice if you can spend some time in going through them as it will help you in getting better responses for your queries.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS FORUM

This forum is your first stop in RxPG forums if you want to ask a question in any subject or of any exam. You can discuss all those Nagging questions which seem to defy your talent and refuse to produce any evidence of their existence in the standard textbooks.

Some of our members should respond or you might find the answer yourself or one of the moderators should help you.

Incase neither of this happens within a few days you can forward your query to one of the moderators by instant or private messaging.

Sometimes it could happen that noone has been able to come up with a suitable reference ---then we might move an unanswered question to the respective subject forum but usually we let a question stay in Nagging for a sufficient period.

Once the question is moved it does not imply that it's closed to discussion. If you want it to be moved back to Nagging you can always ask the moderator of that particular forum to do so but only if you have a concrete reason for such a request.

You might feel that most answers can be found in the texts but pls understand that not everyone has all the texts & maybe they've not been able to find the answer at the time of posting the question.

RULES OF POSTING

Please take care of following rules while posting in this forum:

1. Please read through the threads before posting. Most of the time, questions have been posted repeatedly even though it has been answered several times already.

2. Please confine your queries to a single thread. It has been observed that some members has been posting the same thing in several threads at one time. Let's keep the forum organized as this will help us search for answers to our queries easier.

3.While posting a question for discussion the follow the following guidelines:
(a)Subject line should be written as "SUBJECT NAME - KEY WORDS OF QUESTION" example: "Paediatrics - anaemia malaria".
(b) Message Body should contain "Complete Question + What do you think is your problem + What is your answer" .

(c) Please post only in English. However, you can still post in a different language provided you have included a translation along with it. Otherwise it will be deleted!

4.Posting queries relating to Medimock tests:
(a)Specify the medimock number and the question number in the test.

(b)Give the url of the test page

(c)Specify why you are querying the answer given, cite some references if possible.

5. You can not use this site to publicise/propagate/advertise any group, service or net resource of any definition without the written consent of the RxPG. If you are found doing so, your account will be promptly disabled and your access to THE SITE will be banned by banning your IP address.

6. You may download, store, print and copy selected portions of THE SITE, provided you:
Only use the Downloaded Content for your personal, non-commercial, use or to further your business dealings with THE SITE.
Do not publish or post any part of the Downloaded Content on any other website.
Do not publish or broadcast any part of the Downloaded Content in or on any form of storage or retrieval media.
This clause should be null and void for any part of THE SITE if there is a clear notice of download or storage restrictions on that page and/or section of THE SITE.

7. Except as expressly stated above, none of the content, design, data, software and underlying source code on the Site may be downloaded, reproduced, republished, linked to, posted, performed, distributed, transmitted, transferred, translated, sold or modified, without the express written permission of The RxPG.

8. Promoting, selling, and recruiting are not allowed in the RxPG forums according to RxPG TOS. RxPG website is a place to discuss the problems faced by medical students and doctors with the broader internet medical community and not a place to indulge in illegal activities. Please note that we do not endorse or tolerate sales of illegal goods anywhere in the website.

9. Posting links to any website with .com or .net extensions (other than those in RxPG network) is a deemed violation of RxPG TOS and your account on RxPG might be terminated. If you want to cite any content on such websites, please summarise it in your own words and post it. If you want to mention the source, mention it by name and not by link e.g. timesofindia.com should be mentioned as Times of India and not otherwise. This restriction does not apply to posting the copyright free images relevant to context of the post. RxPG forums are not a place to indulge in spamming the forums with links. If your link is relevant to medical community and you want to share, you can use the appropriate place on RxPG site (the link directory) at
Only RxPG members can see links here! Register or Sign In!

10. Posting copyrighted content or questions from paid online courses is strictly forbidden in RxPG Forums. This activity is a serious violation of intellectual copyrights and is illegal. We at RxPG always take strict action against all such instances and suspend your user account and IP address in almost every case. However, you can paraphrase the exact difficulty or the confusing aspect of the question and discuss it here.

As you might have noticed, there is now an option below every thread in Nagging questions forum to correctly label the subject name to a question. Any logged in user can label any thread any number of times with as many subjects as long as it is correctly and appropriately done. This would go a long way in helping Nagging forum users have a subject wise sorted list of questions for quick revision later on.

Anyone who helps in labeling the questions would earn extra RxPG Credits for each label as an added bonus! Get started with labeling today and make your Nagging question's experience better than the best!

Cheers!
