can someone tell me how much is starting salary in Gulf countries after doing diploma in pediatrics in india with one year post diploma expereince in a leading institute...

before going to salary in Gulf , diploma holders are allowed to practice as general practitioners only. they can become specialists only after completing master degree.

in uae, salary for general practitioners starts from 5500dhms per month plus commision. in saudi, it's low.

Hi,
UAE is better than new york in living & earning for doctors if your degree must be from category A. Indian degree is not in category A. Soudy u just earn money not else. starting salary in uae is 12000 Dh. for indian & for category A is double than this without tax.

While its true that the salary in Gulf countries is good, satisfaction is something that totally depends on the particular individual. Like the previous posted replies i do agree that money is not everything.

SALARY: AS PER M.O.H SCALE (100% TAX FREE).

PERFORMANCE ALLOWANCE: 2-10 % ANNUAL INCREMENT.

Moh exam is for sharjah,ajmen,fujairah,rasalkaimah, ummal quin emirates only.
GAHS exam only for abudhabi emirate.
DOH exam is only for dubai emirate.

Moh exam can be applied individually and we have to search for job.
For GAHS and DOH exam, hospital/clinic has to sponsor a doctor and if selected doctor has to work in that particular hospital/clinic compusorily for one visa peiod(3yrs). after that it's our choice.

salary in uae depends where we r working.

first we can look in moh hospitals i.e., govt.hospitals.
(1) General practitioners are paid 7500-8000dhms per month +good decent accomodation provided by moh(usually 4500dhms/month) or 2000dhms as money + 45days paid holiday per year+ 6000dhms for furnitures once in two yrs.
(2)for specialist B i.e., MS/MD/MDS with 3yrs exp. 10000dhms per month +above said facilities
(3) for specialist A i.e.,MS/MD/MDS with 4 yrs exp. 11000-12000dhms /month+above facilities
(4)consultants- western or arab board or M.Ch/DM - pay is much higher/twice as specialist.

For private hospitals/clinic,

starting pay is 8000-10000dhms/month only + commision based on our performance i.e., if our earning crosses thrice our starting pay we will be paid 1/3 of excess. for eg, our total earning per month is 50000dhms means we will get 8000dhms+ 1/3 of 26000dhms.

pay in gahs hospitals is slightly higher compared to moh hospitals.

one dhm = 12indian rupee.

living conditions are good.
working conditions are good.
satisfation is individual dependent.

above things are based on my personal experience and my friends who are working with MOH,DOH,GAHS . I have cleared specialist B Moh exam.

I know friends who are earning around 80,000dhms /month and you can imagine how much they will get as salary.

Please tell me about your degree It is in Category A or B ? My cousine earn starting salary is 15000 DHS. If you are frcs frcp then pay scale are around 80000 DHS. But I don't understand about 1/3 salary. Please give me answer UDHAY.
