2pilocarpine
3physostigmine
4 dipivalyl epinephrine


another similar q is---
whch is most useful 2 lower iop in hypertensive uveitis---
1latanoprost
2pilocarpine
3physostigmine
4dipivefrine


my doubt is parson says pilocarpine & latanoprosr r contraindicated in secondary glaucome due to uveitis then how can latanoprost b the ans 2 above qs? icon_rolleyes.gif

the 2nd q is an aipg 2002 q & muditk give4s ans as latanoprost coz older kdt mentions that adrenergic agonists r only used as adjuvants 2 beta blockers or miotics in glaucoma icon_redface.gif

latanoprost is prostaglandin drug and therefore contraindicated in inflammatory states like uveitis. agree with timolol as answer if that is an option, otherwise sympathomimetics should be marked. why sympathomimetics should cause hyperemia?
