Green Cards for MDs to take USMLE
Step 3

Been denied a visa to the US to take Step 3, or worried about being denied? Consider studying one year in St. Petersburg Russia
, in English, to earn a nursing diploma. (One year because relevent medical studies are applied to the nursing curriculum diploma requirements). If you pass an examination (www.cgfns.org), we'll get you a job as a nurse in the US, and a green card to go there to work, as a nurse, temporarily, while you pursue your goal of being licensed in the US as a MD. Not true? 2000+ Philippine MDs are going this route because it is a sure way to get a green card to get into the US.
Send me a message, and I'll send you information so you can independently verify what I state about doctors getting into the US as nurses with green cards, and while there, if they get their ECFMG certificate, they can accept any residency they can find, because they will have the green card.

hello sir,
your claim "green cards for MD to take step3" is not convincing. becos, a 1 year diploma course in nursing in Russia
is not considered as credential to take CGFNS exam as mentioned in its website. and before applying for exam, one has to be a licenced nurse in the home country with experience. and this degree we don't know whether we can get a licence as a nurse, ofcourse not in india, but atleast in Russia
. and the most important thing, the st. petersburg website doesn't give any indication of a course in nursing atleast in russian language.
this is what i found. ready to take any corrections becos greencard is always alluring.
bye

Yes, its true that it is possible for one to go to Russia
and then complete the one year diploma and then get a green card. the course has been recognized by CGFNS and also been possible to get a job at US. I have enrolled in this program and also interested in it. This is true program and no doubts.

Doctor:
If you are still interested, visit the St Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies (MAPS). The course is known as the mdnurse diploma program. Or send me a message shown on the main message. Regards, Rudy Mosqueda

I hope your a better doctor than you are a commentator on subjects you don't know anything about.
1. Even in the US there are one year and shorter "Second Career" and Accelerated BSN courses for medical doctors and others who have studied many of the courses studied by nurses. There is no such thing as a level one nurse diploma program acceptable by CGFNS for its certification program. There are 3 year nurse curriculum programs which a doctor, dentist, pharmacist and others can enroll into, and receive credit for courses studied in nursing schools, which they studied in their respective professional schools, e.g. Anatomy
, Physiology
, etc.
2. There is no such rule that the nurse has to be licensed in "their home country". The rule to qualify for CGFNS is that the nurse diploma earned, must be at a government recognized nurse school or institution authorized to award the nurse diploma, and the nurse diploma must allow the recepient to work as a general nurse IN THE COUNTRY WHERE IT WAS EARNED. To follow your erroneous information, only nurses who were educated as such in their home countries could qualify for CGFNS.
3. There is absolutely NO requirement of any work experience as a nurse for CGFNS or NCLEX-RN registration and examination. None.
4. The St Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies has both Russian and English versions of their web site. Since the program is taught completely in the English language, with English text, it should not be too difficult for a "doctor" to figure out to look on the English pages.
MAPS graduated its first class of doctors in June 05, who all earned official nurse diplomas. Most were doctors from India, and their Diplomas were registered with the Indian Embassy in Moscow.
The course is known as the "mdnurse diploma program" and the study program is the "Nursing Curriculum for Professional Retraining" (medical doctors).
Visit the MAPS web pages, (English version) and use the Site MAP to get to their informattion about the program MD/Nurse Diploma Program.
