Do they have a seperate exam for other Md courses. When does those forms get out!!

hi da.... right now they have called for applying for MD psych and diploma Psycs as far as MBBS graduates are concerned.....DM /MCh applic will be out in feb and those exams will be in june....

1.2 External Fellowships: Facilities for pursuing Ph.D. with Fellowships from

can Register for the following disciplines. They have to work on full time basis for
a minimum period of THREE years (Two years in case of having
M.Phil/DNB /MD/MS/DM /M.Ch. degrees). Entrance Test for selection of
candidates for Ph.D. programmes in the following departments will be held during
the months of January/February and October. Interested candidates should write
to the Director along with complete bio-data specifying area of research interest.

Neuropathology - 2 Seats (1 for foreign/sponsored)
9. M.Phil. in Biophysics - 2 Seats
10. M.Phil. in Mental Health & Social

candidate/s are not available in any one of the above category, such unutilized
seats will be filled by the candidates from the other category.

There is only one MD course - Psychiatry .
DM and MCh in Neuro and NSx is also there, but exams are held in June; with few seats as mentioned above.
Check out the NIMHANS site fast for the prospectus etc, the last date is nearing.
