Hi,
The eligibily rules have been published now on the MTAS site. They have written that overseas doctors have to get their eligibility assessed from them before the starting date of application process. But i cannot understand how will it be done and what documents are required by them for this assessment.... Does anyone has any information...??? Plz reply

Quick Scroll application scoring 10.13.06 (1 year ago) #4

does anyone know if overseas graduates applying for F1 thru MTAS have to have their applications scored by their own medical school. I understand that this is the case with uk medical graduates, but does this apply to overseas graduates too??

Hey srilum
The applications will be scored by the first ranked foundation school. They have written that "Applications will be scored by a panel including a clinician and will follow nationally agreed criteria. Applicants overall score will consist of an academic score provided by their medical school and the actual application score. "
So you know, what we need to worry about is the academic score not the application score. I will again talk to one of the deaneries and if they give any information , i'll post it.
