kaplan comlex vs kaplan USMLE

can anyone tell me,is the kaplan comlex and kaplan USMLE
same?
According to kaplan website,they are the same ,just kaplan comlex has an additional osteopathic principles.
my friend has kaplan comlex,so i thought of just borrowing it to photocopy than spending a whole lot of money to buy the kaplan USMLE
.
Do kaplan notes change from year to year?or they stay just the same?

kaplan complex, what is that? i am hearing it for the first time. can u tell it in detail.
regarding kaplan USMLE
, well that is what everyone always follows. regarding changing of kaplan notes every year, well, they dont.. just a few additional points, maybe better pictoral clarity, and teh format of text mite change with change of edition.. but overall, the context is the same.. a year or 2 older edition is no big harm.. but ya, dont go for very old edition...
PS: do elaborate abt kaplan complex.

hey i got my kaplan from a friend.. so kinda got a phototcopies.. dint buy it from anywhere,,,
i also have seen the kaplan websites.. its confusing at times..
i would advice, u decide for urself whic books u wanna do, and then just give a GOOOOOOOOO!

hi mansim,
i have the 2004 edition... a edition here and there is not affecting much.. coz i have checked it with the previous ones, the content is the same.. no major diff.. and plus, the things whihc are given in any one book, evn if we do that thoroughly, is enough.. coz quality is always important compared to quantity...
u can alwasy arrange for photocopy, if any of ur frnds are having the books..

I fell mansim u shud go for Kaplan USMLE
only cos we dunno d differences in Kaplan comlex which is for DOs(Osteopaths of US). I don't think d notes r very costly considering the total cost of MLE material. Here in delhi i guess they give it for about Rs. 15k.
BTW where r u based?

i'm from malaysia.currently,studying MD in ukraine.I'm having a hard time finding kaplan USMLE
.apparently,there are very few english books available in ukrainian book stores.people here doesnt speak english
I also didnt manage to get them in malaysian book stores.None of my seniors or colleagues are planning to sit for mle.i only came across an ukrainian doctor who's planning to sit for comlex.
so,this is my biggest problem now.may be have to purchase them from usa.
nice to get acquainted with you.i see that u are an expert in USMLE
