I found the CRS cases a bit different than previous years. We got a lot of questions where we could write one answer..so it is either right or wrong no D/D. I felt the qs are starting to change and resemble the USMLE in a sense they tell u every thing about the case and u think ..ya I know the diagnosis and then they say so this is the diagnosis ..what would u do next..There was a lot a lot of Obs and gyn, a lot of ethics of course ..everything about the knee in orthopaedics ..at least 3 questions about the knee, about DNR in ethics, Dermatology 3 questions. I think the exam was easy to pass and at the same time very easy to fail. It was basics not complicated stuff but still u could easily go wrong. I remember one case with the 1st question asking about the investigation u would do and u had to write them down...then the 2nd question was the same thing but u had to pick what test u would do ...I felt it was weird. Best of luck to every one.

just back from exam center- i am too tired. I shall try my best to post as many questions as i can.
CRS cases were simple but very confusing. They gave 58 cases with a total of 80 questions all in the afternoon session. But i found it real tough because there was no limit to correct options in most of the choices! Time wasnt a problem at all because i complted my paper well within the stipulated time of 4 hrs. i had more than half an hour to spare! and we cannot revise any answer!

i had this question and answer was PERMOLINE

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), one example of which is permoline, sold under the trade name Cylert. Permoline is a medication that is used in the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children and adults. It is practically insoluble in water, but soluble in ethylene glycol and lipids, making it a good candidate for transdermal administration. Its principal problem in medical practice is its association with chemical hepatitis (hepatotoxicity). Since approximately 80% of orally ingested pemoline goes through the liver prior to reaching the bloodstream (called first pass metabolism), transdermal administration, which bypasses the liver, may offer a significant advantage in reducing liver metabolism. It is anticipated that the incidence of chemical hepatitis might be significantly lower for transdermally administered permoline.
