Hi,
MD Micro is a very good option, provided you are interested in the subject. It involves a lot of work in the lab. And contrary to common belief, the quantity of information to be mastered in a MD Micro course is very huge. In Fact, it is vaster than many of the clinical side subjects. The clinical people may earn more, but that does not reduce the academic burden placed on the para/non clinical course students...
And micro is an excellent option if you intend to move abroad, for a PhD. The ordeal is a lot lesser when compared to the hassles which clinical people face in going abroad. The scenario in India differs with states, I should say. But on the whole, the prospects are good.

i believe there is an acute shortage of micro and histopath consultants in the UK,so the scope here is good if u have md from back home with little experience
