1.Staph.is most commonest causative organism causing acute osteomyelitis.

2.Haemophilus-in children under 3 yrs.

3.salmonella-in pt with sickle cell.

staph is commonest both in children and adult.....thr z one more q commonly asked commones org causing osteomyelitis in sickel cell anemia......its salmonella..

HERE THE FUNDA IS .....staph is mc in all age groups.. but hemophilus characteristically causes osteomyelitis in less than 3 yrs .. still staph is mc cause in less than 3

we might be sure of the answers,in different "settings".but when "settings" are not specified in the question, better stick to "DO NOT TOUCH" strategy.

these benign looking questions might turn malignant anytime with the change jus one/two words here n there! icon_lol.gif
