b d chourasia is the best book
but to be frank the best book every student need to go through is GRAYS Anatomy student edition
its simple with atlas and very clear if you miss some of your classes you need not worry its always there for you

gray's Anatomy is to b read over lifetime....donn even think of it now.if u r already doin MS Anatomy ..take my advice

gross - A.K.Datta ( all three volumes)
embryo- Langman
histo - Wheater's
genetics - Emery's
Neuroanat - vishram singh or Datta ( after u finish
reading Snell's)
clinical - Keith moore
surgical - McGregor's
General Anatomy - A.K.Datta

These r the must.....over a period of time...u will fall in love with the subject.
another important thing is......Last's Anatomy 7th edition is the Bible of Anatomy .....if u read that....noone can ever argue over anything.
take help of Cunnigham's manual & Netter while reading gross or doin dissection.

also go through the atlas of Frank Netter (Ciba collection) and McMinns atlas

Frank Netter's atlas is an awesome book...many of ya concepts in Anatomy esp neuroanatomy will be cleared when you go thru it....this book helped me to understand Anatomy (esp neuroanat) in MBBS first year and thereon
