HI ,
I HAVE DONE MY DGO BACK IN INDIA,AND I HAVE DONE MY MRCOG PART 1.I HAVE NO EXERIENCE IN UK,SO I AM REALLY CONFUSED TO WHICH .........ST1/ST2/ST3 TO APPLY.IN PERSON SPECIFICATION,THEY DONT ASK FOR UK EXPERIENCE,BUT FOR EQUIVALENT.I DONT KNW ,WHETHER MY EXPERIENCE IS EQUIVALENT OR NOT.AND WHERE TO GET MY TRAINING ASSESSED IN ORDER TO FILL THE CORRECT LEVEL.CAN ANYBODY HELP ME..............................PLEASE.

did u write to RCGP certification unit regarding this?I did pg in india too and wrote to RCGP cert unit last time.But now in the changed scenario their advice may be useful for u

hi,'
i went through their site ,and they ask to u to fill article11 or 14.but i think that is for spr.but i want to apply for speaciality progragramme.do i need to start from st1.will my post graduation experience will go waste.i am really in gr8 trouble.and i am not at all getting proper reply,from anyone.i have heard of a site callled UK NARIK,where international degrees are compared to uk education system.thats a govt funded body.can i get my degree validated from there?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/

i think the best way is to ring the rcgp, ask what documents u need to send them and get them to evaluate ur previous experience.
they will advice u how much further training u will need...
u will have to Register with them as well for 350 pounds

hi nymhia
i would like to know that did u give PLAB exam ?bcoz I am also trained in india in O & G.i had my md in 1995.after that i have 10 years of experience.so do i need to take PLAB exam ?or just do mrcog 1 and get st1 training.pl. clear this to me,it would be great help
