hi all.. me new to this site..
planning for GRE in 3 months.. just started a week back.. Looking for all kinds of suggestions for preparation.. Also willing to pursue masters in US

ve got few queries: with time span of 3 months, what wud be the number of hrs i may need to dedicate/day for prep considering the fact that 'm not based from an english speaking country? how can one improve essay writing skills?

Also what would be the earliest i can join a university in US after appearing for GRE in april? I've heard most of the colleges give admissions twice a year.. What can be a good time for me to plan to join?

hi devs

from which country u are?
just quizzing no need to anser that if u dont wanna

me from india

for GRE if u wann aprepare over a period of 3 months and taking into the fact that u r from a non eng speaki country

i recommend daili 3 hrs of study

2 hrs verbal plus 1 hr of maths

but i fu ask me,
3 months is a lot of time that u r providing for GRE

2months is more than sufficient and actualli reasonable cos u need to cram up things onli for 60 days rather than u rplan of 90 days

maths is just elementary maths
no worries abt it at all

all u hav got to do is
memorise the barrons wordlist
and u r on ur way for the GRE

cheers
any queries
we wil lbe very pleased to help u
your rxpg complaisance

hey check out the community in o rk ut for GRE
there are 3 useful ones of them
and take the exam in the 3rd or 4th wee k of the onth so dat u can have the list of words that are appearin that particular month , u will get definiteli get 4-5 woprds from that list., cos GRE has a certain pool of questions for a montsh period. and they keep on repeatin depending on how u perform in the exam( adaptive )

and thats the reason why one is not allowed to take the test more than once in a month
