Post operatively a pt on IV dextrose and saline develops tetany. His blood pH is 7.48 and PaCO2 is 24.What is the cause :
a) Postoperative hypoparathyroidism
b) Calcitonin deficiency
c) Metabolic alkalosis due to dextrose and saline infusion
d) respiratory alkalosis
e) Thyroid crisis
