M- Metoprolol
E- Esmolol
A- Atenolol
Acebutolol
B- Betaxolol
Bisoprolol
C- Celioprolol



Beta blockers Possessing membrane stabilizing action or Local anaesthetic activity or Sodium channel blocking activity.

Possess- Propanolol
Membrane stabilizing- Metoprolol
or
Local- Labetalol
Anaesthetic - Acebutolol
Property- Pindolol



Lipid Insoluble beta blockers (these are contra-indicated in renal failure and are long acting)

Not- Nadolol
Soluble- Sotalol
A- Atenolol
Acebutolol
B- Betaxolol
Bisoprolol
C- Celioprolol


In above pneumonic A, B and C are same as in Selective beta1 blockers
