Quick Scroll M. Tech BME / MMST In India or Graduate BME From US 03.03.07 (1 year ago) #1

Hello everyone

i am new to this forum. i am a final year medical student in MAMC Delhi.

i want to pursue a career in biomedical engineering (BME), more specifically i want to go in neuroengineering field.

well i have done a lot of googling about various pathways leading to this career after mbbs. after everything i am confused regarding following:

1. Which is better :
M. Tech Biomedical engineering / MMST From IIT Kharagpur from India on one side

or

Graduate Biomedical Engineering From U.S. Universities like jhu, duke, brown, Purdue, Georgia tech.

2. And second confusion is if we MBBS pass outs are even eligible for foreign Graduate Biomedical Engineering program as most of them require on year calculus and one semester of chemistry apart from GRE and TOEFL . How do we fulfill this requirement ?

I have read everything about MMST on this web forum which really give a bad impression about MMST as a whole.

Please reply to this thread as this query applies to almost all of student like me wanting to make a career in biomedical engineering... engineering...
