hello guys
i just passed my PLAB 2 exam i am here on spouse visa.and planning to do MRCP 1 in this sept ,i am confused whether i shud apply for f2 or wait for f1?is there any f1 post available right now as i just saw sum vacancies on mtas but not sure abt that?i hope u ppl will help me out

If you are intending to go through the foundation programme then dont start doing MRCP before getting into the system, becasue the route differs. Unless you have plans to go and work with the MRCP degree out of Britain, you shouldnt realy sit further exams.

However, if you have done internship you might be eligible for FY" and hence doing MRCP1 in this period seems reltively acceptable. On the other hand Foundation Y1 of 2007 opened in October2006. So expect the same date this year for application for FY1-2008.

But first let me congragulate you for passing the PLABS, and best wishes in the future, you are doing well so dont panic. You may already know the ladder that takes u to future through medicine is full of obstacles and that it is long but then you can always smell and see the brightness of ampitions some how.
