hi! everybody this is to inform you that in the first day of counselling in MUMBAI 14 students abstained from the process, i.e upto sml no 337 there were 14 candidates from mumbai who didnot participate in the process, so the implications are simple:

1. it pushes the rank of candidates lower than 337 by 14, whichis good as yesterday there where 150 candidates in mumbai so 14 less out of 150 is a gain of 10% which is undoubtly good.

2. this reduces some effect of the ai second round.

This information is certain as it is verified with all the staff conducting counselling at mumbai .

now it is here, where i need ur co operation:
those candidates going for councelling now on at all the centres please ask the Staff involved about the number of students not reporting for the councelling at their respective centres; using this data we can have a fair idea of the effect of second round of all india and our likely position in state.

it will definitely beneficial for rankers beyond hundred .

remember even one seat can make a huge difference,

well icant exactly give u the ranks of people who remained absent from the process but ...

in mumbai centre upto rank 350 there are 14 students who did not attend for sure.

the picture will be more clear if people from other centres contibute.

every year the same thing happens,, its not a new thing... people r absent each year due 2 diff reasons......so saying that our ranks hav gone ahead is not logical....think about it....

sir zxcv, may i reply last year at 355 merit list only 318 turned up to the councelling (REF: 3rd allotment list cet 2006)

but....

if u consider this years figures it will definetly be more than that, GOD WILLING that is:

just have a look at first 150 candidates from mumbai, i think it is more than that,
