high risk of infant mortality/ SIDS
perinatal hypoxia and acidaemia
operative delivery
neonatal encephalopathy
others like hypoglycemia, hypothermia,hypocalcemia and polycythemia

Long term complications
early cognitive and neurological impairment and cerebral palsy
increased risk of hypertension, glucose intolerance and atheromatous vascular disease in later life

2) breast milk /breast feeding jaundic
3) Pathological ABO or Rh incompactibility
4)Conginital deficeincy

Criteria for admission
1) Sepsis
2) increase hemolysis
3)Prematurity
