Congrats to all of you on stepping in to Pathology by securing seats in various medical colleges. To introduce myself..... I have finished DNB path and just log on to this site to help students.
Yes viju the training in KMC M'lore is good to a large extent. But compare yourself not with just your fellow PGs, but strive to always improve yourself. You got to be competitive globally and not just a smart doc in your medical college.

This question of which books to read is asked frequently by all freshers. After finishing pathotraing and now into regular reporting, I have realized one thing that 'which book' is not important. Yes it is not so important as you think now. What is important is how you read, what you retain, how much you understand, how much you comprehend. Always strive to gain knowledge and not just facts...... understanding facts is more important.
Most books on surgical path are good, so making one choice or the other doesn't make you excellent or a huge dud.
Cytopath..... Koss and orell are good, so is Gray.
General path.... I yet to find a better book than Robbins.
