hey i am so sorry to hear that. don`t loose hope.
first place a call to the ecfmg. ask them rescheduling of the exam.
think about a strategy to reapply for the visa.
can you think of a specific reason why your visa was rejected?

rejected coz of lack of bonding to home country..........
the VO said u have very litle chance of returning. coz i have stayed out of india for a lot of time.
i had sponsored the visa from my bro-inlaw- us citizen, matbe that also was a reason.....
actually my CS eligiblity ends on 21 june2007 and i dont think i have chance of visa when i reapply within a month...
the status may change only after a year or so.., then i'll apply again......

Hi Medisid.. Sad news..
Call Ecfmg stat and find out the process. Why don't you give it another attempt, say after consulting a visa counselor. He may guide you better and may have some bright idea to get a visa within your desired period.
Good luck this time...

if u can sponsor yourself then well and good, but in my case i think sponsoring from her did more harm than good to me!
from your sis u can arrange house stay there. do keep a copy of her passport or greebn card when u go for interview so as to show her status in us.
further u have to mention her in visa form.....
best of luck! google singh
