Hi Cerasella. How do u do?I think kaplan an some mock exams are enough 2 clear the USMLE .this is what i learnt from all other posts especially if u r of those who dont have much time 4 preparation.
Anyway,if u`d like to review additional books here are 3 sites where u can find a very wide range of medical books:
drebook
medicalheaven
medical-ebooks.[no ads please]
just add(www)before and(com)after those 3 names and they will work with u.
Good luck

THanks , Dr , I never taught , is enough to read just the questions . Indeed , they are explained . But , when I want to search for additional informations I want to read something from the real bibliography for STEPS , not my canadian books . Because you know , my decision , to go through the american exams , is because , I am sick en tired to learn like a crazy , and in exam , canadian exams , to see , the subjects are not from the books mentioned . I came from the exam , and if want to correct my questions , is absurd , to look in the books for exams , I must to go via internet , and even in this case , is not sure I will have a response to the questions . I have this reaction , because I'm not canadian graduate , and I am ambitious enough to succed , but I have not access to their information. Here I talk about more etichs tips , for succed the exams .
I want to ask , for , USMLE STEP @ , , etichs is included? And which are the best books to read in this purpose . I read somebody in this forum , with ''Etichs on the bed's Patient'' .
And also , because I have just a book Kaplan STEP 2 CK, from 2006 , And The Last MOCK TEST , could you tell me , because I can buy also , the old Kaplan , until which year , are good to read . If I buy Kaplan 2002-2006 , do you think are good ?Thanks for all informations provided .

hey cerasella,
the editions doesnt matter at all. all u have to do is, be thorough with whatever edn u have got with u.

ethics as a subject is included in behavioural science.
but u can expect an ethics q anywhere along the steps?!

just stick to kaplan series, check latest cmdt for reference and u should do fine.

tc

Hi Cerasella..sorry,It seems that i misundersttod what u said in ur first message.I thought that u went through kaplan notes not Q bank as u meant,so I told u that kaplan is enough(meaning kaplan notes)in addition to q bank and some mock exams.
I havnt heard ab that familymedicine book u mentioned.but i`ll search ab it 4 u and 4 general benifit.
good luck

Another questions::::::::

1. If you prepare STEP 2 by Kaplan and Mock , What about BLUEPRINTS?These are also necessary?

2. I was pretty sure , STEP 3 is practical exam . And I saw the books with questions , not with clinical cases how I expected . Can anybody clarify about Step 3 .
I want to do , Step 2 teoretical , Step 1 , After Step 2 clinical , after Step 3 . Which exam is in Philadelphia . IIF I pass now Step 2 teoretical , do you think , I am oblige to do also Step 2 clinical , instead to do Step 1? Because I am not confident right now , to do a practical exam . You know I am coming from QUebec(where French is a law)and I must to learn more English , in a purpose like that .
